Captain Midnight Says, "More Ovaltine Please!"

What is this stuff anyway? Only a boomer would know. It seems to me, it's better eating the crunchy little morsels off the spoon, than trying to dissolve the stuff in milk.

Hi, Thanks for visiting me at MYBLOGLOG. I enjoyed looking at your site. I have to admit, I am a Boomer AND I remember Ovaltine. My brother liked it even better than me, I think. I am such a choc-o-holic! It did bring back fun memories - thank you :)

My mom would never buy Ovaltine even though it was the rage among all of my friends. The closest we could get was milk with a teaspoon of Hersey's Syrup...which. now that I am thinking about it, was pretty much a staple in our house.

I rather like ovaltine. You can buy it hot instead of coffee in the chinese bakeries downtown to go with your coconut bun, delicious. I don't know why Chinese bakeries and no one else still stock ovaltine, but they do.
